These vignettes are delightful and could each be expanded into novellas. I especially loved four. It's such a beautiful scene that captures the melancholy/mundaneity of everyday life with a tiny drop of magic when the book returns to the woman. Not sure if you've gotten to her piece yet, but @aliaparker also wrote about moths and moonlight.
These are lovely, Thomas. I'll pick 8 as my favorite, but all of them are great. I like the sound of these and the sound of the more technical words somehow especially, crisp and a little wintery. Very nice.
I want books like these! Fantastic work.
So do I.
Wow this is so great!
Lovely!
I love these “imaginary” books that are brought to full magical lives by a hopeful generous imagination and gorgeous writing♥️
Absolutely magical. I would now please like a library filled with these living books, thank you! Wonderfully descriptive and imaginative Thomas 📚

Thanks so much! I saw Alia’s piece, yes. Synchronicity 😉
Love love

Thanks so much Joseph. Glad you enjoyed them. I’ve always been inspired by Italo Calvino, a master of merging lyricism with scientific terminology.
That was brilliant
Thanks Winston!
Love it 😍 Beautiful evocative writing
